Since inception in 2001, The Santa Fe Public Schools has maintained a supportive role with SFSI, and created an official partnership in 2006.  In 2003-2004, the Santa Fe school Board recommended the use of a double-wide portable building on campus at Gonzales Elementary school for the SFSI Resource Center, and pledged to provide utilities and insurance. Since that time, it has grown into the home base for SFSI training and a place to store and restock all. This Resource Center is the beginning of what we hope will be come a Regional Resource facility for Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico communities.

SFSI is grateful for continued financial support from Frost Foundation, LANL Foundation, LANB (Los Alamos National Bank), Genzyme Coorporation and Prediction/UBS Fund. There is a bill (HB20) in the 2007 New Mexico Legislature for $60,000.

In an effort to be a comprehensive service to the community, SFSI is a partner with the Santa Fe Science Alliance for Science, an organization that helps pair retired scientists with classrooms grades 7-12. For specific information contact: www.sfafs.org
