Curriculum Materials
SFSI staff are well versed in using ‘kit-based’ materials and provide active support for educators who use a wide range of kits. SFSI staff also are available to assist individual schools organize a ‘science room’ and create appropriate inventories for refurbishing existing kits. We have used the following curriculum materials for many years:
Center for Hands on Learning (CHOL) kits:
Journey into Science
These kits, manufactured in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, were developed to meet New Mexico Standards and Benchmarks. Many schools purchased these materials during the 2005-2006 science materials ‘adoption.’
